CEA is a UK Community Interest Company. It owns and governs the KSR standard and acts as its accreditation, certification and examination authority.
Owner of the standard
CEA holds and maintains the KSR standard — its competencies, rubrics, scale and examination — so the standard stays consistent and independent of any single school.
Accreditation authority
CEA grants and reviews school accreditation, and approves exam centres.
Certification authority
Certificates are issued under CEA's authority and are publicly verifiable.
Examination authority
CEA defines the external examination, certifies methodists, and clears examiners through calibration.
A non-profit body
As a Community Interest Company, CEA operates for community benefit, not private profit.
CEA governs the standard; RusJAz delivers it; the two are deliberately separate.
