For schools
KSR gives your school one standard, a ready A1–B2 programme, and a certificate issued by CEA. This page covers what it is, why, what you get, how to join, and how long it takes.
The academic standard for Russian for bilingual children aged 5–16 — four stages from A1 to B2 on the Common European Framework (CEFR), with external assessment and a certificate issued by CEA (Cultural Educational Association — the owner of the KSR standard).
One standard
A result means the same in every school and country.
External certification
The level is confirmed by CEA — an independent authority — not the school.
A ready A1–B2 programme
Units, lessons and activities — nothing to build from scratch.
Transparent quality
Methodist, rubrics, validation, audit — quality as a process.
The whole programme — from first words to the examination and certificate.
The first 90 days — from applying to the first certificate.

Director
One standard, transparent quality and verifiable certificates — a school on a recognised footing.
Parent
A clear path for their child: stage, progress, areas to support, the certificate goal — plus a way to support learning at home.
Learner
A clear goal in every lesson and at every stage, native lessons and practice, and a visible path to the KSR certificate.
The senior stage ends with an external examination; the result is confirmed by a KSR certificate, verifiable in the registry.
What does the school need to provide?
One accredited methodist responsible for the standard, and teachers ready to deliver the published programme. Accreditation is only possible with methodist coverage.
Do we keep our own curriculum?
KSR sets the standard and the assessment; how you run lessons within a stage is yours. The ready A1–B2 programme is available but not the only route.
Is the certificate recognised?
The KSR certificate is aligned to the CEFR and verifiable in an open registry. It is recognised across the KSR network and a clear reference beyond it; it is not a state examination.
What does it cost?
Terms are discussed when you apply — get in touch and we'll walk you through them.

A comparable result
CEFR alignment is understood beyond the network.
Verifiable certificates
Every certificate is confirmed in an open registry.
