The standard
KSR — Key Stages of Russian: four key stages, one grading scale, one pass rule — applied consistently across schools and countries.

CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) ranges are indicative; KSR does not claim automatic CEFR certification.

Pass = an overall mark of at least 4, AND at least 4 in the written components, AND at least 4 in the oral. Certification work is double-marked, moderated, and marked only by calibrated examiners.
